Accommodation at the Conference Hotel – Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa is located on Ka’anapali Beach. It is about a 45-minute drive south from Kahului Airport (OGG). For the exact location and direction to the conference hotel, click here.

The resort has recently undergone a major renovation. The accommodations including furniture, technology, fixtures and, amenities have been completely redone. The lobby and landscape have been redesigned and constructed to offer more walkways and spaces for socializing. Click here to explore.

HICSS-59special rates ($307-$334-$358-$386, $408) are available on first-come-first-serve basis for the HICSS conference on January 1-11, 2026. Once you have finished your conference registration and paid the registration fee, you will receive a registration confirmation email with information about a dedicated website for hotel reservations. Please contact hicss@hawaii.edu if you do not receive this registration confirmation email within a day or so after completing the registration.

Please note:

  • The hotel will honor the special rates only if the conference takes place in-person.
  • Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. For additional persons 19 years and older, additional charges per night will be applied. Each room can accommodate up to 4 people.
    >> 3rd person, standard rooms: $80.00 per room, per night
    >> 3rd person, Regency Club rooms: $130.00 per room, per night
    >> 4th person, standard rooms: $160.00 per room, per night
    >> 4th person, Regency Club rooms: $260.00 per room, per night
  • Room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes which are currently 17.962%.
  • A daily resort fee is waived. Guests will have access to services such as:

    >> Complimentary cultural programs including lei making and hula lessons
    >> One-hour daily tennis or basketball court time; tennis balls, racquets, and basketballs included

  • The cut-of-date is November 30, 2025. Reservation requests received after this date will be based on availability at Hotel’s prevailing rates.
  • Reservations will be guaranteed upon receipt of 2-night deposit.
  • All cancellations received within 45 days up to 7 days prior to arrival date are subject to 2-night room rate plus applicable taxes. Any adjustments to the reservations will be assessed half of the cancelled night(s) plus applicable taxes.
  • Any adjustments to a reservation within 7 days up to arrival date, which may include full/partial cancellation or no show, will be assessed the cost of the full length of stay plus applicable taxes.
  • Check-in time is after 4PM. Check-out time is 11AM.
